In the Middle Ages the “laudemio” was the best part of the harvest, devoted to the lord's table. Now it is a delicious olive oil. The Laudemio oil has been made by 22 Tuscan producers, under which the Frescobaldi familie, known for their award winning Toscany wines. The oil is exclusively made from hand picked olives, harvested between the eind of Oktober and the beginning of November. Within 10 hours the grapes are pressed by the Gonnelli familie, who have been making olive oil since 1585 in Santa Mill Téa.
